A Bit About Us
We left the big smoke in 2007 and after spending some time travelling, we decided that we wanted to call Margaret River Home. When our daughter was born in 2008, we quickly realised that we wanted to break away from the 9-5 routine, and create a work life balance that allowed us both to be hands on parents, and have the flexibility to be around for the important moments. So, in 2010 we took a leap of faith, left our jobs and purchased C’Lect-a-Blind. The business had been operating for 8 years already, and was the perfect foundation for us to build a business that we are very proud of.
We both have a strong background in retail and small business, and it has been the perfect fit. We each have areas of the business that we look after….Joel is the man on the ground, he does the quotes and installations. You’ll find Elle in the showroom, looking after the administration and pouring over fabric swatches and keeping up with what’s hot in interior decorating circles. Elle also tells Joel where he needs to be at what time! It’s a partnership that works well.
We pride ourselves on excellent service, and in a town like Margaret River a business thrives on positive word of mouth and referrals – we love nothing more than getting a phone call from someone who was given our name by a satisfied customer.
There’s no job too big or too small. Our role is to listen to you, find out what you need and what your budget is, and then take you through the options. We offer free quotes, and understand that sometimes you might change your mind five times……that’s ok!! It’s a big decision and a big investment, so you can be assured of our patience and attention to detail.

All of our blinds, curtains and shutters are custom made to fit your exact window measurement.
Everything is made using quality fabrics and components. On most interior products you can expect an approximate 3 week turn around. Outdoor blinds take approximately 4 weeks to be manufactured. Curtains can take 4 – 6 weeks.
